Arched Hands (Wrist Extension)

If you type with your hands angled up at the wrist, you put unnecessary strain on the tendons in your wrists. To reduce this strain, keep your wrists straight when typing, and type with your fingertips gently resting on the keys. If your keyboard is sloped toward you, a wrist rest may help elevate your wrists to the proper height. You may find that sloping your keyboard away from you is a more comfortable way to type while keeping your wrists straight.

See the section on Wrist Rests for more information and the Finger Stretch and Wrist Stretch sections for related exercises.
